This notice is issued by Gold Energies B.V. (the "Company"), owner of the Machex brand and the data controller. It explains cookie processing under applicable data protection and cookie rules, including GDPR and, where applicable, Article 10 of Turkish Law No. 6698 and the related information-duty rules.
This notice explains the purposes of processing personal data automatically obtained through cookies on the machex.com marine platform, the cookie types used and how to manage your preferences.

Processing Purposes and Legal Grounds
Cookies support requested services and account security. The applicable legal basis depends on the purpose, including contract performance, legal obligations or legitimate interests where permitted. Optional analytics relies on consent. Where KVKK applies, processing follows the principles in Article 4 and the conditions in Article 5. Applicable cookie-consent rules also apply.
Essential functions: secure sign-in, maintaining sessions between pages, securing login transactions and remembering cookie choices.
Optional analytics: evaluating platform usage from information such as the page visited and language, only after analytics consent.
Language preference: remembering your selected interface language for later visits.
Analytics consent is not permission for advertising or targeting. This inventory describes cookies actually used on the platform.

These cookies support secure login, sessions and preference management. The analytics preference record stores your approval or refusal separately from analytics collection, so a refusal is also remembered.

Preference Cookies
Machex remembers your selected interface language through machex_locale, which is set when you choose a language.
Performance and Analytics
The current analytics function operates only when machex_analytics is set to granted. Rejecting or withdrawing consent stops new analytics events. The preference record is not a separate visitor-tracking cookie.
How to Control Cookies
Open the preference panel using Cookie choices. Essential only rejects analytics; Save preferences applies your choices; Accept all enables the optional analytics currently offered.
You may also change cookie settings in your browser. Depending on the browser, you can block cookies, receive a warning before cookies are set, or disable or delete selected cookies.
You can withdraw consent by reopening the panel, turning analytics off and saving. Preferences may be stored separately for each browser and device. Deleting cookies may cause the preference panel to appear again.
Mobile-device cookie settings can also be managed through the device's settings menu.
Blocking essential session cookies through browser settings may prevent login and account functions from working.
Where Article 11 of Turkish Law No. 6698 applies, data subjects have the following rights:
Learn whether personal data is processed.
Request information about processing.
Learn the purposes of processing and whether data is used consistently with them.
Learn the third parties to whom data is transferred domestically or abroad.
Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data.
Request deletion or destruction under the conditions in Article 7.
Request that recipients be notified of correction, deletion or destruction.
Object to adverse results based exclusively on automated analysis of personal data.
Seek compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
Your GDPR rights, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability where applicable, remain available. You may also complain to a competent supervisory authority.
Submit a request using https://machex.com/legal/data-request or another legally available method. GDPR requests are normally answered within one month, subject to lawful extensions; KVKK requests within thirty days where that procedure applies. Requests are normally free, with fees or refusals only where permitted by the applicable law.
